ICEGOV 2018 conference in Galway, Ireland

International Conference on the Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance 4-6 April 2018 in Galway, Ireland.

I participated in the 11th International Conference on the Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance, 4-6 April 2018 that took place in Galway, Ireland.

The ICEGOV series focuses on the use of technology to transform the working of government and its relationships with citizens, businesses and other non-state actors in order to improve public governance and its contribution to public policy and development. The main purpose of ICEGOV 2018 is about transforming digital governance for sustainable and resilient societies.

This year I was part of the program committee reviewing papers for acceptance into the conference.

On day 2 (Thursday, 5 April) I co-chaired in the World Bank invited session 3 - Digital Platforms for Smart Green Cities: Challenges and Collaboration Opportunities in Disruptive Technology Environment, and gave a presentation on 'Digital Platform on knowledge management for Smart Cities'
