Bahrain eGovernment Excellence Award 2017

In July/August 2017 I chaired the Bahrain eGovernment Excellence jury.

The eGovernment Excellence Award Program has been created under the Patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa as a strategic platform for the Information & eGovernment Authority to recognize, reward and showcase the pioneering ICT initiatives taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain’s community.

Over the years, the eGovernment’s Awards program has become the cornerstone to encourage Bahraini Government and Private entities, NGOs citizens for their successful ICT innovations, with the aim of further enhancing the Bahrains’s electronic community with regards to the Bharain government’s Vision 2030.

The Bahraini eGovernment Excellence Award is given in the following categories:

Government Awards

• Best eGovernment Website
• Best Government-to-Government eService (G2G) 
• Best Practice in Community eParticipation
• Best eGovernment Integrated Services for Individuals or Businesses 

Multi Sectors Awards

• Best Applications for Smart Devices

Citizen Awards

• Best eConcept
• eCitizen
